Ashcombe is pleased to announce that it has advised First Mile on the sale of the business to US-based Warren Equity Partners.

First Mile is a leading provider of recycling and waste management services to 25k businesses across the UK. It offers modular solutions across waste streams, containers, collection models and disposal methods to create tailored services. Its industry-leading Recycling Data Studio helps clients comply with regulations and track their environmental impact.

Warren Equity Partners is a US-based private equity firm focused on infrastructure and facility markets. This acquisition marks its first investment in the UK, following its success in growing Meridian Waste in the US through more than 30 bolt-on acquisitions.

The acquisition will enable First Mile to scale its well-invested platform and accelerate growth through strategic acquisitions, enhancing service quality, expanding its reach and driving greater sustainability for customers nationwide.
